Portraits keep memories alive but only the best pictures become portrait photographs. The best portraits are found taking a prize position on the wall and the optimum size before framing these day's seems to be 16" x 12" (A3) also this is one of the best sizes for a canvass picture - and what a brilliant present that makes.

Types of portrait:

Family portrait photography is about capturing the relationships of the family members on film or digital format. Warmth, love, and natural affection are the glue that binds a family together. Every family is unique - constantly changing, evolving, and growing. My job is to discover how best to portray it.

Just Mum & Dad

How about the Crinklies. (They know I don't mean it) Ah they love having a house full of their offspring especially at Christmas and what better time to have family portraits done.

You're Pets too - I see the inside of many homes owned by animal lovers and the walls are covered with beautiful animal portraits, so dont think that portraits are just for people.

Wedding Portraits - Quite obvious really, most people have one of their wedding pictures turned into a decent portrait.

Children - Can be easy or - well you know what I mean but Childhood milestones can never be repeated. Fortunately, I can capture these milestones for you in uniquely professional photo portraits, preserving them forever as cherished family heirlooms. In months, they go from helpless newborns to active, curious youngsters, taking their first steps and getting into everything! After that it's just about anybodies game and complete pot luck if you can get them to even eat their breakfast never mind a decent image for the wall. Just like my animals, I strive for perfection and sooner or later I will succeed and have that perfect shot and the little darlings wont have to be chained to the settee either.
