Anything - Anytime - Anywhere (Within Reason)

What I really mean is this - If the shoot is within my capabilities, is the type of photography I will do because there are certain images I refuse to take and if the price is justifiable and acceptable to both of us, then we have a deal. I don't have a problem with jumping out of perfectly good aeroplanes - I will go up mountains - shoot jetskis from a chase boat or photograph a high profile wedding.

In fact as long as my body is capable of the demands of the shoot I will do it, whatever whenever and wherever in the world I'm needed but these specialist services are not free because I have 3 charges - by the hour - half day and full day but I can take thousands of images in that time.

Most of my pictures are taken at the highest quality RAW mode using Canon cameras and lenses and with today's current technology I can easily have a set of proof images on your desk top anywhere in the world within 15 minutes of the pictures being taken. If there are deadlines then I can easily produce pictures well inside imposed time limits and you will have the images for print etc.

The majority of my photography is PR images of people or products trying to make them look better in my pictures than they did when I took the shot and many times I've been accused of giving a false impression of what is real life. But this isn't achieved by trickery or the use of Photoshop tools its simply clever lighting, an eye for a great scene and pressing the shutter at the exact right time when everything in the picture is right, that's what you pay for.

Mainly my images are improved by bringing the subject out of a busy background and make it the very focus of attention inside the image with careful cropping and maybe improving the richness/contrast of certain colours and areas within the image, subtle variations in most cases but sometimes the complete opposite.

I'm the old school type who thinks that the digital camera won't ever take over from skill and the correct use of f stops and light meters, although modern cameras do make things easy for the novice they're not and will never be a substitute for good grounding, knowing your trade and a lot of skill. Film cameras like Bronica or Hasleblad (there are others equally as good) are and will always be the best image takers but alas these iconic cameras have been put back in the box and been superseded by a small silver box with millions of pixels and face recognition software? Who uses this? I know what a face looks like and I don't need some 12 year old software developer to tell me how to do it.

So if you want a specific image with a professional approach taken by a photographer with plenty of imagination and the knowledge and drive please contact me but if you think it can be done by your friend who has a really good camera phone and has done a bit of photography then I'm not the person you want. There's always one guy with a camera phone shadowing me everywhere and saying that his pictures are just as good as mine? DON'T USE THIS PERSON. Prices vary considerably both up or down depending on the type of photography and general conditions which include weather and other factors

QUALITY CONTROL

It makes sense to offer my photographic skills and all the expensive specialist software to provide a design service for commercial clients on things like - Brochures/calendars/flyers/display units/banners etc but I also needed some control over how they were printed and using a company somewhere in Sheffield wasn't going to provide what I wanted for my clients so whilst I have complete control over the image from concept to production I really do need the services of another professional specialist with these skills and equipment but much closer to my business in Bridgend.

I now have the services of a brilliant like minded printing company who has the necessary skills and state of the art equipment which sadly I cant afford or would even want, but most of all together we provide a service that compliments each others business and collectively we have your best interests at heart first and foremost.
